💻 Briefy for macOS
Experience consistency: The Briefy Safari extension on macOS mirrors the functionality you've come to love on Chrome and iOS/iPadOS, making it easier than ever to summarize and organize knowledge with your MacBook.
Download instructions: To get Briefy on your Mac, simply search for "Briefy" in the App Store. While we don't yet have a native Mac app, we've adapted our iOS app for use on MacBooks with Apple M chips. Just look for Briefy under the 'iPhone & iPad Apps' section, download it, and start enjoying the iOS-like experience on your desktop.
🙆 How to activate Briefy on Safari?
There are two ways to activate Briefy on Safari. Here's the first method⬇️:
- Open Safari, go to Settings, and select Extensions. Find Briefy and enable "Always Allow on Every Website." Make sure you confirm the same selection when the popup shows up!
Or you can⬇️:
- Click Briefy's magic button on the left side of the address bar, where you'll see the logo in gray, indicating it hasn't been activated yet. Select "Always Allow on Every Website," and confirm your choice — don't forget to confirm the same selection again when the popup appears. Once confirmed, the Briefy logo will turn to full color, signaling that Briefy is successfully activated!
Either way, activation only takes a few seconds! Now you're all set. Open any page with content and start summarizing with Briefy!
