We're excited to introduce two major updates on Briefy Web 1.3: extra credits and our Invite & earn program. These two features are designed to give you more flexibility in using Briefy and reward you for sharing us with others. Let's dive into how these new features can enhance your experience with Briefy.
Use extra credits on demand beyond your subscription
Credits are the points needed for each summarization. Previously, credits were tied to your monthly plan and would refresh with each billing cycle. If you used all of your credits (now referred to as 'monthly credits') before the month ended, you had to wait for the next cycle or upgrade to a higher plan. With Briefy Web 1.3, you can now purchase extra credits whenever needed, such as when you've used up your monthly credits.
🫴 Extra credits give you more control over your usage since they are permanent and will never expire. Unlike monthly credits, which reset at the beginning of each billing cycle, extra credits remain in your account until they are used. Rest assured, your monthly credits will always be used first, ensuring you maximize the benefits of your subscription plan before dipping into your extra credits.
💰 Purchasing extra credits won't affect your current monthly plan, and everything in your monthly plan will stay the same. You can buy extra credits anytime, even without a monthly subscription. However, the features you can access with extra credits still depend on your monthly plan. For example, if you're on the Free trial or Standard plan, you won't be able to use extra credits for PDF summarization. Additionally, if your plan expires, any remaining extra credits cannot be used for features that were only available in that plan.
The number of extra credits you need depends on your usage. For example, summarizing a standard webpage typically requires 1 credit, while summarizing a PDF document may require 3 or more credits per page. You can refer to the "Estimated usage" section on the Pricing > Buy extra credits page for more details on typical credit consumption.
Earn credits and commission with our Invite & earn program
Our newly added Invite & earn program gives you more ways to share Briefy and earn valuable rewards. Here's how:
